Faith & Social Justice: In the spirit of Richard Overton and the 17th C. Levellers

For the Peace of Jerusalem: 6-8 May 2007

6-8 May 2007 at National City Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Lutheran Church of the Reformation (ELCA), Washington, D.C. is the site of the annual advocacy conference of Churches for a Middle East Peace.  This year’s conference is called “For the Peace of Jerusalem,” and will focus on U.S. policy and how it fuels or heals the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This ecumenical conference will feature speakers, workshops, advocacy preparation, and citizen lobbying of members of congress. Register now.  Note: None of the (small) staff of the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America can make this meeting. If you are a BPFNA member and can represent them at the conference, contact the BPFNA and let them know.
