  1. I knew it! Darned commies! Where’s Captain America when you need him?

  2. They killed him off because he wouldn’t support a law that said all superheroes had to register with the govt.

In the ’70s he quit and became “Nomad: The Man Without a Country” during the Watergate crisis.

Steve Rogers’ loyalties were always to the ideals of America, not any party or govt.–even when first created in 1941, there was an issue where he confronted FDR face-to-face over the concentration camps for Japanese Americans!

  3. “We all wanna change the world.” – John Lennon

  4. Who know who else conservatives called a communist, and accused of associating with communists? Martin Luther King, Jr.

    Racists never change.

  5. Yes, but MLK, Jr. was, by his own admission, a democratic socialist who especially liked the Scandinavian form of social democracy as a model. He had a dialectical relation to Marx. Obama, on the other hand, is clearly a capitalist–and very centrist. I detect zero Marxist influence–and not enough Keynesian influence.

  6. I don’t detect any lean towards anarcho – syndicalism either-at least not yet . Citizens must be vigilant.
